Welcome to JeffCO and we’ll be looking forward to a lively show out here. Lot’s of good races coming up including some interesting Muni races for 2009. No Mayors that I know of but some very competitive council seats with wannabes already making their inquiries.
So, do we have a Treasurer now or what?

The green background is nice, too, since Jeffco is deeply, deeply concerned about the environment. And, of all the metro counties, has the most forest.
on SD-20? This should be an interesting primary if indeed Dave Ruchman fights Cheri Jahn for the seat. My sense is that her constituents love her (HD 24 is the biggest piece of SD 20) and that she is definitely the favorite here.
Cheri is not beloved. She hasn’t had a real race in years, and most of her legislation comes from doing whatever the business community tells her to do. Cheri probably has decent name ID, but she’s not like a Sue Windels or Moe Keller figure that has always been very popular.
